THE EXPERIENCE
This five-bedroom villa over the Sea of Cortez is a perfect party place for friends and family on vacation in Los Cabos. The elite Mexican estate sleeps up to 12 guests in extraordinary style, offering plenty of privacy amid the 6,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor living space. And it brings some special features, such as a fifth bedroom accessed from outside the house and another bedroom with a loft containing a daybed that is perfect for a child who will want to sleep securely within proximity to parents.

Two master suites come with grand views of the Sea seen from the bed, the private patio, and, in the case of one of them, through a picture window built into the grand bath area. All rooms are exquisitely designed with an eye for bright colors and patterns to reflect the lights, colors, and shadows of the tropical sun's daily arc. Enjoy stargazing from the bedroom terrace through handy telescopes provided or watch a film in bed within cool air-conditioned comfort.

Meals are moments of celebration, too. Lapis-hued Spanish tiles define the kitchen, decked completely in gourmet appliances and fixtures, including a built-in wine cooler that can be stacked with the right labels before arrival. A convenient marble dining counter allows for quick and casual meals, while the dining room nearby seats eight with ample room for elbows. Even the formal living room at La Terraza 365 is more of a place to lounge and let go than formally entertain. It turns into an ensemble media room for watching films and television and leads to an outdoor living design set up with casbah style elegance overlooking the sea.

Naturally, an inviting blue infinity pool marks the central focus of La Terraza&rsquo's terrace, surrounded by all manner of cushiony chaises and seating arrangements. Beyond the pool is the Sea of Cortez, with a long quiet beach just a short walk away. Nights at La Terraza are filled with soft warm breezes and conversations by the outdoor firepit.
